Efforts to address the trauma and seek justice for the survivors and families affected by the Isaaq Genocide have been limited, leaving many waiting for recognition and compensation for what they’ve endured. This ongoing lack of justice only makes the pain and suffering of the Isaaq people worse. Without acknowledgment and reparations, the wounds of the past remain unhealed, and the trauma continues to haunt them. It’s crucial that steps are taken to address this injustice and provide the support needed for healing and closure
